Shochu(Clear distilled spirit) Brewing System

Description of the Process

1. Sweet Potato Washer Delivered sweet potatoes are washed in water to remove soil.
2. Screening Table The tips of the sweet potatoes are cut off, and potatoes are evenly cut up.
3. Sorting Conveyor Charges sweet potatoes to the designated Steamer (Unit No. 1 or No. 2). To ensure uniform steaming, the amount charged is restricted to a predetermined height by the level meter in the steamer.
4. Sweet Potato Steamer (STM) The potatoes are steamed by the steamer and sent to the next process on the conveyor. The steamer shown in the illustration here is a batch type. Continuous-type equipment (STMAC) is also available.
